Which academic groups are more effective?
By GRETA MACK, Associated Press — The U.S. Department of Education said it has narrowed the field of top academic research to four.
In its latest survey, the department found that the research departments that received the most awards were the same as those that received a low rating last year.
The survey was conducted between April and July of this year, so the results will not be released until June.
The four top academic departments were: psychology, psychology and the social sciences, computer science and the information sciences, and engineering.
The three remaining departments were computer science, biological sciences and the physical sciences.
The departments that got the lowest ratings were the social and behavioral sciences, physical science and engineering, and the arts and humanities.
The department said that, in the past, some of the research that was considered “top-tier” was not included in the overall score, but was added to the top score because it was seen as more relevant to a particular audience.
